True enough, it was the best among all that I tried. Served with mixed berries, the hazelnut flavoured creme brûlée came with an essential burnt sugar surface layer torched to perfection. The hazelnut flavoured pudding beneath this crisp layer was soft with a beancurd-like texture, along with a pleasant nutty flavour and aroma. Coupled with a tinge of caramelised sweetness from the sugar layer, the assorted berries was a great accompaniment to cut through the otherwise overwhelming sweetness with its tangy, zesty notes.
