It’s Quesadilla Night! This was big time delicious. While it was definitely on the oilier side, the tortilla shell was well seared. The cheddar cheese was melted to perfection, oozing with every bite. Messy, but not a mess I mind. I preferred the chicken quesadilla, because of how the chicken chunks itself were well marinated, adding an additional layer of flavours to the dish. One might find it too complex for the tastebuds - but perhaps that day, I was looking for a burst of flavour.
Nonetheless, the beef was absolutely fantastic as well. Slow cooked marinated beef that was tender. No surprises, it went great with whatever that was in the tortilla.
Service & ambience were top notch at Tonito’s. The staff were friendly, and the colourful decor naturally influences a lively atmosphere. They serve you different levels of spicy Mexican sauce which we very much appreciated. The spicy kick served to provide me a complete, tantalising quesadilla experience.
