Exclusively for the month of March, this Sakura berry mille crepe comes with a top layer of Sakura white chocolate ganache, layered with strawberry infused pastry cream within each paper thin-like crepe layer, topped with dehydrated strawberries. Was initially skeptical about this floral cake as I was afraid it would taste artificially sweet or just a normal fruity strawberry flavour, but my first bite of it proved me all wrong. The tangy berry flavour and fruity sweetness of strawberry is perfumed with a lingering floral aroma that makes this an enjoyable and pleasant delight ; one that wasn’t too overwhelming and I could easily polish this off all by myself for an afternoon tea snack. The delicate layers of mille crepe were painstakingly stacked and coated with substantial amount of smooth and light strawberry cream, whereas the top layer of Sakura white chocolate ganache enhanced the whole experience with its subtle pleasant floral fragrance. On a side note, one thing I m always curious about: are mille crepes meant to be eaten layer by layer, or just shove the whole stack into your mouth?🙊
