A pricey starter, but the portion was quite large unlike a typical starter. The dish is served chilled so it’s quite refreshing. Hokkaido scallops sashimi were fresh and sweet, pairing well with the bits of Japanese seaweed on top which gave a pleasant briny flavour. The truffle fragrance was distinct, and the thin angel hair pasta was smooth and slippery. A tad oily because they really did make sure that each strand is coated in white truffle oil. Overall thought it was quite nice, I don’t mind having it again, but it didn’t blow my mind.
