The moment you reach the store, can immediately smell the whiff of charcoal. didn't know food could smell like charcoal (unless you're...eating charcoal...but you do you) but this hokkien mee did. Wow. One of the better hokkien mees I've tasted in awhile. Dk why most hokkien mees I tried all so limp. but this one definitely stood up.

maybe only the Sambal chilli could be more punchy, but that's my personal opinion lah, you might like it. also, $6 for this small portion make my stomach and wallet cry.
