Goldleaf Restaurant had been serving Taiwanese porridge since the 1970s, and it's now conveniently located at Amoy Street near my office.

Besides the comforting Taiwanese porridge with sweet potato and the typical porridge fare, this restaurant also serves decent tze char dishes. This black pepper crab is one of them. The black pepper sauce isn't too spicy, it's instead sweet, and definitely really thick. I enjoy mixing some of that sauce into my porridge.
