I do love matcha and I do love ice cream but this bitterness was unexpected when I wanted some dessert. This matcha Bella ($7.80) is creamy thick soft serve that's matcha bitter. They recommend the puffle (+ $3) if you're sharing. The nana slice 🍌 with torched granules of brown sugar and the almond choc sticks were a brief relief. From middle down is where it got weird with a layer of pasty azuki. Peanut hazelnut spread does not fuse well with this one. It's better with the vanilla soft serve, which though a tad sweeter, was very bland. As you hit the bottom, the sweetness of bits of mushy caramelized nanas mutes some of the bitter. Maybe it's just not my thing 🤷🏻‍♀️

The group of us went to Andiamo at Orchard Gateway for a scoop of pistachio gelato which was 😋 milky and flavourful.
