[HOLLAND VILLAGE, SINGAPORE] You don't get much vibes here, but what you are maximising is the food quality and value. You get really quality ingredients at a really affordable price!

The Irodori Chirashi Don ($19.90) was a total winner for me. At such an affordable price, you get a heaping amount of seafood ingredients, which includes some premium ones as well. All the sashimi chunks were hefty and I particularly enjoyed the little surprises within like the uni, aburi otoro and hamachi. Even the tamago was very well done, really fragrant and not too sweet.

We got a Sashimi Mori 4 Kinds ($24.90) to share, and my oh my were the slices THICK. Every piece was so fresh, and I particularly enjoyed the Hamachi, as it was so succulent.

This was such a treat, knowing that I will probably spend at least 30% more in other places of similar quality. My only gripe is that they use the fake kind of wasabi, which really did not help to elevate the taste of the sashimi. Definitely still a very satisfying meal that I thoroughly enjoyed!
