This is very fragrant, due to both the pandan aroma and the coconut aroma. Texture wise, it isn't airy and fluffy, and that's a good thing. It's denser than most pandan cakes, but it's still very soft and smooth. It's very fine pandan cake.

I got to know that only all-natural ingredients are used - low-gluten finely-milled Japanese flour; extra fine Japanese sugar; gula melaka specially sourced from an exclusive supplier from Malacca; virgin coconut oil; and a house-made pure pandan extract from fresh pandan leaves.

For the longest time, whenever people asked me for pandan cake recommendations, I could only recommend them this particular chain at our airport, for their convenience. But this pandan cake, arising from a partnership between Old Seng Choong and famed local chiffon cake extraordinaire Susanne Ng @susanne.decochiffon, is definitely in a different league.
