I was first introduced to Hang Heung when we stayed with one of the HK water polo players in the New Territories area and he brought us to the original bakery in Yuen Long whether there are hordes of people waiting for freshly baked trays of the thin crust biscuits stuffed with a mellow and sweet handmade winter melon paste filling. Needless to say, subsequent trips to HK have seen me with bags full of these traditional Cantonese pastry as gifts and (mostly) for personal consumption.

I have been craving for some since my last visit to HK in July 2019. Yes, it's really expensive at approximately $3 per piece but bopian we are stuck here!
