One of my favourite supper places is Wan Dou Sek (揾到食) or better known as 126 Dim Sum in Geylang along Sims Ave.

The establishment appears to be a hole in the wall from the outside but once you go through the PVC strip curtains at the entrance, you see many eager and hungry patrons ready to dig in.

I love most of the dishes but my heart is reserved for the Chee Cheong Fun served with a unique thick sweet sauce, huge King Siew Mais with loads of flavours and crunch, Shrimp Dumplings with the translucent skin and thick shrimps and the light yet tasty century egg minced pork porridge.

I have a few issues with the place. Firstly, there are many food outlets and heh... hotels in the area so parking is scarce. Secondly, the seating in the restaurant is also limited and cramped unlike Swee Choon. Thirdly, poor attention to detail as some of the shrimp in the dim sums are not deveined and you can see that long black colon running through its back.

Overall, great place, great food and opened 24 HOURS DAILY!
