Established since 1894, this famous chocolate shop is one of the oldest chocolate shops in Madrid. Just a short walk from Puerta del Sol, don’t miss out on their churros! 🍫
✨ 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝟲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘀 (€𝟰.𝟱𝟬)
One of the best churros that we've tried, we got a bundle of 6 churros with chocolate. Enjoyed the combination of the thick flavourful chocolate with the churros. The chocolate is served in the authentic Spanish way with thick consistency. No wonder it is popular with both locals and tourists alike! 🫶
✨ 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲 𝟲 (€𝟭.𝟴𝟬)
The churros here come in two varieties: thick or thin. Ordered an extra half dozen of thick ones, also known as porras (we got the thin ones together with the chocolate). Ngl the thick ones did remind us of you tiao 🫣 The crispy churros are not coated with sugar but still remain very flavourful!
✨ 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗲 (€𝟮)
Also ordered a cup of the aromatic coffee milk ☕️
If you’re just intending to snack, you can also get just 2 sticks of churros (but trust me, you’ll crave for more)! 😩
While they generally don’t accept reservations, we found a seat quickly and you can also choose to takeaway! Plus this spot is open almost 24/7 so if you’re afraid of any crowd, just head over during the quieter periods. Overall, a must try when visiting Madrid!
