Green Tea Almond Croissant ($4.5)

If you know me, you should also know that I take my croissants very, very seriously.
So, in search of the best croissants in Singapore, I scoured every piece of this very expensive land for some buttery, flaky goodness and decided to step into this local bakery run by the french. Still suffering from some form of post-colonial hangover (JK, we were colonized by the Brits), Iโ€™ve decided to go against my natural repulsion towards green tea and give it a shot. I was ready to open fire at itโ€™s taste and complain about how much I hate green tea on my food. Man was I wrong. After taking a bite of the croissant, I felt like I needed to apologize to the piece of pastry I held in my hands for being so mean. Well, enough said, it was good, and worth your calories, so go for it.
