They serve two types of waffles - buttermilk/pandan gula melaka. Each order of waffles includes one complimentary sauce which we get to choose from the classic maple syrup, childhood milo or house-made jam.

I got myself the buttermilk waffle with maple syrup, topped with genmaicha (classic) and oolong osmanthus (premium) gelato served on traditional old-school rooster plates. The waffles are done crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Genmaicha gelato was expectable and nothing to shout about but the oolong osmanthus fared better with a refreshing, light and creamy texture.

No Horse Run is a cosy little cafe that opens till 2AM daily serving artisanal gelato and waffles in the heartlands of Yishun but getting a table during busy hours is challenging as they have very limited seats available. I had to wait for more than 30mins to get a table past midnight and another 30mins for my food to be served after ordering.
