IZA is all about incorporating local flavours into items you’d usually find at a Japanese izakaya. From what we had tonight, like the pictured “Four-Ton Chawanmushi” - a tasty Japanese-style steamed egg enhanced with salted and century eggs plus a quail’s egg, their recipe spells success.
Then again, this should not surprise considering their “guys are from The Skewer Bar” (as stated on their Facebook page). And that is already an established spot for very affordable grilled food on, you guessed it, skewers.
Prices are also kept very pocket-friendly at IZA with no GST or service charge. Furthermore, there’s a choice of sitting in air-conditioned comfort or al fresco. Being very spacious, this is an ideal venue for groups looking to gather over food and drinks in the East.
