Directly opposite the famous Master Tang Wanton Noodles on 6th avenue lies a quiet stall called Mian Zhi Yuan that serves up OUTSTANDING prawn noodles.

Walking into the space, you can smell the distinct aroma of the stock, made with prawn heads and pork gently simmering away. I seriously almost started drooling. haha

Its definitely a good idea to get the $4.50 bowl as it comes with several fall off the bone pork ribs. The soup is intense and super flavourful. My dining companion remarked that she felt like she could finish the entire pot but I was too busy stuffing my face that i could only grunt in agreement. Managed by a group of young hawkers from Penang, they also have another outlet at Bukit Batok. #westsidebestside
