A night of reminiscence at a cozy nostalgic place. It's been a few years since my last visit to Old Habits Vintage Cafe. Still as mesmerized as before by their retro decoration, like the road signs, old-school games, toys. And guess what, some of their tables are like the traditional sewing machine I have at home!

I remember I had the popcorn matcha latte the first time I went. Was a little hesitant for this unusual combination, but turned out to be surprisingly good.
This time round, I went for the chicken version of their classic shepherd's pie; Jessy's Spicy Casserole. Diced chicken, nyonya flavoured, coupled with diced carrots and topped with home made mashed potato. Spiciness was further added by the sprinkle of chili powder. Well, it felt like a huge curry puff served in a casserole without the pastry shell. Nothing fanciful, just a simple heartwarming fare but could get dull.
