The mentaiko pasta was creamy when the egg was mixed together with the mentaiko, but the mentaiko flavour was lacking. More mentaiko would be better, though the seaweed was a good addition. The pasta was thick and the overall dish tasted more like a creamy pasta. The gnocchi was chewy and had a good texture, and went well with the bacon, spinach and cream. It was cheesy and flavourful.
