As simple as it looks, the Japanese Musk Melon is possibly the sweetest & juiciest melon on this planet! What I love the most about ending the night with this was how the chef has sneakily drizzled half the melon with whisky, while leaving the other in its original state.
When we were introduced to the dish, we were instructed to have the original piece first, before diving in for the whisky-drizzled piece. The after effect of that is a sweet, alcoholic but yet a light end to the entire 10 courses.
