First time at Cuba Libré and I had a refreshing good time! Coincidentally, I visited Cuba Libré on the day safe management measures eased, so it would be no secret that my night was filled with chaotic good vibes, especially with the resumption of live bands and high-spirited atmosphere. With Clarke Quay gradually being vibrant again, indeed, nature is healing.

Tried the Signature Mojito chicken upon recommendation and was generally pleased with its rather unique flavour. My experiences with chicken are often savoury, which made this interesting because of its sweet and citrus profile. Marinated with a tangy rum reduction, the saccharine tanginess really came through whilst the rum was not as apparent. Although I was hoping that the mojito essence could come through a bit more, it was overall a palatable dish that was unlike all my savoury chicken experiences! Plus points for them using boneless chicken thighs as well, so it’s not excessively dry.
