Maybe it was my high expectations but the cake came out very normal. While it had a fluffy vanilla sponge interior, it was nothing beyond a typical sponge cake. A huge let down was that it was extremely sweet. My group hardly tasted any cookie butter flavour beyond the overload of caramel sugariness
