Was surprised how this did not turn out to be overly sweet despite the bananas, cream, banana sauce and caramel. While the caramel layer was a little too dense and sticky to cut through with just the fork (it sticks stubbornly to the fork despite our efforts to get the fork out), the sweetness of the bananas, richness of the caramel and the fragrance of the banana sauce along with the crumble used for the tart base made for a satisfying sweet treat that's not too sweet overall.
