Located at Telok Ayer Street, is a restaurant which focuses on European-influenced Japanese cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed myself with their wide array of European-influenced Japanese tapas dishes, elegantly paired with exclusive award-winning sake.

Their menu comprises of four categories – Bites, Cold Tapas, Hot Tapas and ‘Stressed’ (desserts spelt backwards). Here’s what we tried:

Topped with uni and ikura, the oysters were super fresh, plump and creamy. A simple yet refreshing indulgence to start off the meal.
The interplay of textures was delightful, with the crispy walnuts, soft chicken patty, and rich yolk complemented by a caramelized sauce that provided the perfect touch of sweetness.

Highly recommend! The 5-hours braised Umami-style Duroc Pork Belly was so tender, soft and flavorful - it literally melts in my mouth! I’d recommend getting the friendly staff to recommend a sake to pair, so that it can help you cut through the heaviness of the dish.

Perfectly deep-fried till it’s super crunchy and juicy! It’s so crisp that you could eat the whole prawn including the head and shell!
