Balestier Road is the Bak Kut Teh capital of Singapore. This whole stretch of road consist of up to 4-5 popular Bak Kut Teh Stores.

Balestier Road BKT has been around since 1966, and apparently, they stay true to their roots and uses sugarcane to prepare their BKT soup. As Balestier Road used to be a sugarcane plantation.

The Premium Pork Ribs meat was tender and easily slides off the bone. Goes very well with its chilli padi, garlic, dark sauce "dip"

The soup was slightly peppery and flavourful. Of coz free top up of soup is avaliable here. Could taste any sugarcane though.
