From Paper Crane, located in the same compound beside the main building that houses the Singapore Council of Women's Organisation. Food and environment gives neighbourhoodly and homely vibes; the fried chicken were crisp on the exterior, savoury yet juicy and succulent inside. Fries were seasoned in salt, though the slaw can be better if it could be served colder. Do not forget their signature chili sauce that takes two days for the owners to cook; gives the fried chicken a tangy spiciness that has quite some kick! Come without expecting too much, and you will be satisfied with their friendly, sincere and honest service and simple fare. A good location for nearby office workers for lunch.
