It's like when you are already in the midst of the day and you feel like having a hearty brunch. Whisk & Paddle turns out to be a pleasant retreat for me, as the restaurant faces a dense forest at the opposite side of the river.

This pan of energy includes two slices of bread, sautéed potatoes, mushrooms, bacon, sausage and two eggs (I chose sunny-side up). As promised, the yolk flows very smoothly as soon as I run my knife over it. Among the items in the pan, the sausage turns out to be the most salty. I was also thinking if there can be some grill tomatoes in this breakfast (for the tangy balance of the palate), that would be nice.

Everyone else seems to be ordering their Macaroni & Cheese for sharing.
