A chocolate tart crust encasing hazelnut & mascarpone cheese filling topped with fluffy, cotton-like meringue dusted with cocoa powders, the taste was akin to a Ferraro rocher, chocolatey, nutty and decadent ✨. The chocolate tart crust is firm with an ideal crispness, coupled with a lingering subtle bittersweet cacao flavour. The hazelnut mascarpone cheese was thick and luscious, with a fragrant nutty flavour that could have been more distinct and less milky. The bits of chopped hazelnut and cacao nibs embedded within contributed to a pleasant crunch whereas the top layer of foam-like meringue added a pleasant tinge of sweetness which fortunately wasn’t saccharine as I have expected. The generous dusting of cocoa powder served as a counter balance to the sweetness, with a bittersweet cacao flavour . Overall a satisfying dessert for my sweet little tooth but the question is, where’s the salt? 🤔

[PS: Last day tomorrow(10 June) to lay your hands on these tarts that’s available at the Takashimaya pop up fair!] .
