This special menu item comprised of fragrant coconut rice served with grilled tender chicken coated and drenched in a generous amount of satay sauce, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts, pickled cabbage and the essential sambal chilli. Adds on are also available at an additional cost, where I added a spicy Thai otah (other flavours available too) at an additional cost of $2/ piece or $3/ 2 pieces. The satay chicken was tender, succulent with a thick and slightly gritty satay sauce that is flavourful and sweet with a mild lingering spicy aftertaste. The sunny side up came with a vibrant orange yolk (surprisingly still a little soft and runny) with pan fried crisp edges whereas the ikan bilis & peanuts serves to provide a pleasant crunch factor. The pickled cabbage came in a tangy, mildly spicy dressing that reminded me of azar, crunchy and refreshing. Spicy Thai otah was indeed as the name suggest, spicy with a great kick! In fact, it was even more spicy than the sambal chilli which was too sweet for my liking. Each set also comes with an iced calamansi, a sour and refreshing cooling retreat from the spice and heavy meal! .
