On my to-visit list for the longest time, Marcy’s seafood-centric menu hit all the right spots for me. The dimly lit, lavishly dressed, new-retro dining room was also very charming.

And to start, I got the Fatty Tuna Crudo ($28). Plated with a pool of Yuzu sauce, sliced red onions, crunchy sea grapes, and sesame, the tuna sashimi was tender, fresh, sweet and of the perfect thickness. Though I was expecting more of the yuzu flavour to come through, the refreshing citrusy dressing had a nice savoury zing which worked wonderfully with the sharpness of the onions as well as the briny pops of sea grapes.
