At first sight, I was impressed with the plating of this Roasted Red Snapper (S$32.00) from Open Farm Community, because the decorations with the sauces looked so pretty. Then the reality kicks in when I saw that the portion of the fish was merely the 2D size of one fist.

But I must admit that the combination of taste on this plate deserves a special mention. The blot of hibiscus ketchup was really sour on its own, but when I dap the fish on the sauce, it actually brings out two distinct taste of seafood and a bit of tanginess. The squid ink (guessing) barley rice and the calamansi and sesame cucumber salad also gives the main course a little more dimension.

It seems like the restaurant always runs at full capacity during dinner service, so either make a reservation beforehand, or opt for the communal table (facing the kitchen) if preferred.
