The rice had passable spices but the texture of the rice itself is way too hard for briyani. Mutton was tender although there's bones and that really affected the enjoyment.
The fried egg was creamy in the middle as usual, very high quality Kampong eggs
The coleslaw looking raita-substitute was not bad, but the curry potatoes lacked flavour.
Overall it's alright
I only had a bit but I thought this was pretty decently executed, quite mild though even for this style's standards. The garlic was nice and soft
The sauce was pretty good, meat was very lean though but acceptably tender for the leanness. There's a bit of heat which is really welcome for braised dishes, and the portion was decent too. Unfortunately I can't recommend this because I prefer fattier cuts, I mean it's literally pork trotter, people know what they're getting into. Not too sour though
The egg was pretty well fried(on the spot no less), and u can tell it's good but I tot abit more soy sauce could have brought out its umami
Curry was good as expected of a Malaysian stall. It's somewhat coconutty, mild but fragrant enough, and not too spicy. A decent option too
It looks nothing like the picture which seemed a lot more fiery lol(I didn't eat this but was surprised by how it looked, well I think it's more convenient than the ones with shell in the picture)
The chili was mild but pretty nice, Lu rou was well coated w the savoury sauce with a decent texture. A solid option here
