Born from a very traditional family, food like ngoh hiang is something that we will have in our daily meals, which also makes my family quite particular about it. What surprise me the most is that my family and I really enjoyed the food!

The portion is huge as seen on the picture. Beancurd skin wrapped with generous amount of water chestnut, marinated minced meat and prawns makes every bite so tasty and crunchy. It comes with a garlic chilli and sweet sauce, the chilli seeds give a distinctive hot and tingling feel which it is addictive.

The clams are chewy, the first mouth taste sweet and ended with spicy note! The parley and garlic fragrance were really on point.
Best thing is this pacific clams can be customized!

Slightly different from the ones we had at Song Fa Buk Kut Teh. Less peppery. The pig trotters though doesn't make the cut. Too oily. Overall, for 2= $17.60

Originally wanted charsiew and duck. But I saw the chicken hanging there, so plump, so juicy and skin... omg... it was glistening and shimmering, the oils was just sliding slowly off the skin and dripping onto the plate. I am indeed seduced by the sight. Charsiew sliced thickly and alittle sweet. Chicken was tender and with a sweet salty sesame oily finish. Roasted duck with a crisp skin, tender flesh and a subtle hint of spices. Noodles very ordinary. The other bowl is bakchormee. No wow factor but enough to satisfy your bakchormee craves.

The meat platter costs $8 for a person's portion but it was enough for 2. My lazy lunch on a slow day.
