Newly opened along Blk 177 Toa Payoh Central, Tai Wah Pork Noodles has expanded & opened this store conveniently located just a 5 mins walk away from the MRT!
Located within Epic Haus coffee shop, they sit right next to the popular Tanjong Rhu Wonton Noodles store & sees a snaking queue during lunch hour. Fret not, their simple menu consists of their usual BCM or the deluxe version with the full works.
We went for the usual regular version which comes with a choice of your noodles (either soup or dry, we went for the latter), topped with minced pork, lean pork slices, meatballs, wonton & their iconic fried flat fish. I gave my portion of liver away cause I'm not a fan, but for reference, it was cooked just right (as shared by my colleague).
The combination was a no brainer, but I wished they cooked my kway teow a little shorter (cause it was slightly soggy once it got the table) & had a tad more vinegar. That aside, the generous amount of ingredients made up for it & made it an extremely enjoyable bowl!
