Emmental cheese, button mushroom, cream sauce.
Liked the taste and texture of their buckwheat galette best out of those that Iāve tried here. It was crisp and not too thick. But Iād probably made a poor choice for fillings. It was creamy, a tad salty because of the cheese and cream sauce I guess and left a lingering salty aftertaste. The galettes at the next table looked much nicer than mine. Still prefer crepe to galette.
Home made salted butter caramel, cooked apples and home made vanilla ice cream.
Prefer the soft crepe to galette. Crepe was really soft and chewy, with some thickness and more filling than it seemed. Their home-made salted butter caramel was like butterscotch and not sickly sweet - so good. But you have to pair it with their home made vanilla ice cream else the dish will be too sweet and itās just not as nice. Like the flavour combination but would prefer the crepe to be just slightly less thick.

Well well, bet you were looking for this review after reading my first post. Wait, you havenāt? Well, head on to the first if you want to know about some savoury goodness of crepes(and cheeses).Ā
Frankly, I chose this as my dessert because I liked the name Geraldine. And I didnāt understand why the name Geraldine equals to Everybody. āSo everyone is a Geraldine, and Geraldineās favourite is everyoneās favourite?ā I asked the waitress (who is also a French), where she replied āDesolee, je ne sais pas.ā and moved along. Now Iām confused, perhaps there were so many french in that cafe she forgot momentarily that my primary language aināt French.Ā
The menu was right, though, Geraldineās Favourite was presented to us, warm, but not piping hot. Enough to melt the creamy vanilla ice cream a little but not so hot that you end up with a warm vanilla drink on your plate. The caramel sauce drizzled over the crepe.. Oh no, not those cheap syrup you see at the supermarket. Thatās atrocious. It's the good, caramelized goodness with an ever so mild bitter aftertaste caramel should have. Hmmm, so yummyā¦ As you cut into the crepe, the caramelized apples then flow out, along with the cold ice cream, you put it into your mouth. Creamy, cold, warm, sweet, and bitter. A gastronomical explosion on your tongue as you reach for the second, third bite and before you know it, itās gone, and you need a second crepe. No wonder itās everyoneās favourite.
Entre-Nous Creperie
Emmental Cheese and Button Mushrooms with bechamel sauce ($16.90)

Entre-Nous Creperie is my go-to place for french crepes because they mean business. What do I mean business? Despite being tucked away at a corner of a quaint street, you can see french people streaming in and speaking in their tongues.. For a moment I thought I was in Europe. Authentic French Crepes, thatās why, they mean business.
Creamy, thicc, rich, and aromaticā¦ as you cut open the crepe, melted cheese pours out from the slit with the bechamel sauce and before you know it, you had to wipe your saliva off on the napkin.. Cheeses are not for the faint hearted but the emmental cheese is a milder variety for the general publicās palates. Portions are big, so if youāve decided to chicken out because of a mental barrier(emmental barrier), or simply because you are lactose intolerant, you can always opt for the sweet option, coming up, in the next review.
Bon Appetit!
If you ever find crepe better than this place, please let me know. Dropped by 15:50 and the lady (seemed to be the owner) told me their last order is 16:00 and they were full of orders already. But sheās still accomodated me dine in. As I have to order straight away with her.
I went with La Gleman $14.90 which consists of crepe with grated coconut, maple syrup anc homemade salted butter caramel ice cream that interests me to pick this item.
Although the crepe presentation was ordinary but the taste is amazing! First bite, will bring you to heaven state for a moment. The crepe was totally sweet since it were drenched in maple syrup but itās worth every calories. I shared with friend over iced mocha. But their drinks doesnāt appeared to be standout, too ordinary. What a pity, my iced mocha wasnāt that good. The shredded chocolate sat below the bottom of the glass & the mocha taste is diluted with the ice.
Casual cafe for weekend teatime 2-4pm.
Next visit, would love to try Geraldineās favourite crepe.
