New on En Yakiniku's menu is the Wagyu Ochazuke, where hot green tea 🍡 is poured over thinly sliced Wagyu beef πŸ„ served on a bed of steamed rice 🍚. The perfect comfort food on a rainy day, or in fact, any day!

Be sure to catch En Yakiniku's Sake Tengoku 🀩, a first in Singapore! Using superior broth & sake 🍢 to steam prawns 🦐 & clams πŸ¦ͺ on the first layer, & garlicky giant scallops 🌟 on the second layer, the highlight for me in this special steamer over charcoal πŸ”₯ is in the last layer.
.
The essence of the steam transforms into a mouthwatering Japanese congee 🍚 at the bottom, which we elevate with a serving of Wagyu shabu shabu πŸ₯©. Owing to the umami seafood broth, this was so sweet & comforting! 🀀

By the folks behind the adjacent @ensushisg, @enyakinikusg is a NEW Japanese Yakiniku x Sake Bar that will bring you to where nightlife meets casual yakiniku dining – a modern day culinary experience surrounded by a shared taste for quality food, alcohol, music and a good time!

With the use of binchotan charcoal for grilling, it definitely elevates the premium quality meats and prawns to the next level. Their A4 Wagyu Ribeye & Striploin were the main highlight of my meal! Perfectly grilled by the friendly service staff, each slice of Wagyu was rich, juicy and had a velvety decadence.

Guess what? They even go to the extend of de-shelling the prawns for you!

We were impressed with our recent yakiniku dining experience at En Yakiniku.

They use binchotan charcoal here for the grilling and it really does make a difference in terms of taste (slightly smokier)! We tried some of their premium quality beef cuts (sourced from Miyazaki prefecture in Kyushu, Japan) like A4 wagyu ribeye & A4 wagyu striploin (both of these were so good!), beef tongue, oyster blade, US beef chuck and US prime short rib (loved this too!), as well as tasty pork cuts like Iberico pork collar and chestnut duroc belly, along with tiger prawns, tsukune chicken ball, and some of their cooked food items. The food here ain’t the cheapest, but you are definitely getting your money’s worth with the quality! This place acts as a sake bar too, with an open bar concept so do order some alcohol to pair with your grilled food!

The service standard here is awesome; you can request for help to grill the meats for you and even to de-shell prawns! The ambiance here is really cool & convivial as well, and both of these factors certainly elevated the overall dining experience even more!

En Yakiniku offers a wide range of Appetisers for diners to snacks and drink before the mains. Highlights includes Premium meats such as A4 Wagyu, Gyu Tongue, Oyster Blade and Iberico Pork as well as Fresh Seafood option; huge Hokkaido Scallop, Tiger Prawn and Japan Surumi Ika (Whole Squid).

Adopting a contemporary approach to authentic Japanese BBQ experience πŸ”₯ is En Yakiniku, located at Bras Basah/Bugis area. It's a meat lovers' heaven! 😍
.
We tried a plethora of their beef options 😎! The highlight was definitely the Miyazaki A4 wagyu which @enyakinikusg sources from the famed wagyu ranches of the Miyazaki prefectures in Kyushu, Japan πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅. The A4 wagyu ribeye ($54.90) was the crowd favourite ❀️ - super succulent with an almost melt-in-the-mouth texture 🀀.
.
The other beef cuts that we tried were also of good quality! πŸ₯© Particularly enjoyed the A3 US Prime Short Rib ($28.90) which was more fatty & tender! πŸ‘πŸ» The Oyster Blade & US Beef Chuck ($17.90 each) are leaner cuts but nowhere near tough πŸ˜‹. Pair the meats with the spicy sauce & yakiniku sauce 🀎! We also tried the Gyu Tan (beef tongue, $21.90) - thinly sliced with a firm chewy texture.
.
If you do not take beef, fret not! Their Chestnut-fed Duroc Pork Belly ($15.90) & Iberico Pork Collar ($14.90) πŸ– were equally delightful! You can also opt for their Tiger Prawns ($22/6pcs) 🦐, Shiitake mushrooms ($8/6pcs) πŸ„, or Yakitori ($12) - grilled chicken skewers πŸ”. We ended the meal on a sweet note with Taiyaki Ice Cream ($5.50) 🍦.
