Venture into this restaurant situated along Jalan Batai for modern Thai cuisine. Start your meal with a plate of spicy and refreshing Papaya Salad, filled with chopped raw papaya, dried shrimp and crushed peanuts. Keep the heat going with the sweat-inducing Tom Yam (RM20), or the rich and creamy Green Curry with Chicken (RM28). Order the Pineapple Fried Rice (RM24) – a perfect companion to the curry that sees fluffy yellow rice topped with runny fried egg and cashews. Cool off after that spicy meal with the Mango Sticky Rice (RM18). Pro tip: Pop in between 11:30am to 2:30pm for their value-for-money lunch sets!

This salad packs a punch – be careful of fresh chillis folded between the slices of papaya and veggies. It’s further dressed with crunchy peanuts and baby shrimp. A bit too spicy for me yet still very addictive. We wiped the plate clean.
I could not stop slurping the curry. I like that it was sweet which helped balance the spiciness. Bowl is filled with a generous amount of chicken slices too. A definite must-try!
Can’t go wrong with this classic and Ekkamai’s version truly satisfies. Best vehicle to pair with the sweet-spicy green curry!
Indeed a Thai classic. Fragrant fried rice that comes with runny fried egg, bite-sized pineapples, crunchy cashews and prawns. Enjoyed every bite! Drizzle some lime juice over the dish and you’re all set for a delish meal!
