𝐎𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐚 (3.5 ⭐️; $8.50) - Comforting and slurpworthy with a broth that’s flavourful albeit on the thinner and lighter side. Comes with shredded chicken and 3 oysters.

𝐋𝐮 𝐫𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐚𝐧 (4 ⭐️; $5.80) - Classic goodness with the savory juicy and fatty braised pork melding nicely with the fluffy pearl rice. Loved that the flavourful sauce abundantly coated each grain of rice.

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 (4 ⭐️; $8.80) - Addictive fried chicken with crispy batter and succulent meat. Enjoyed the spicy seasoning and added flavour from the fried curry leaves.

I’m not a big fan of fried food in general but the Salted Crispy Chicken ($8.20) is not oily and the skin is so crispy and fragrant - can’t stop eating it! Sadly, I didn’t really enjoy the Sweet Potato Fries ($8.20) as they are rather thick and dry. The Fried Tempura ($7.50) has a chewy texture and it tastes like fried dough (it is actually fish paste mixed with flour) - I’m ok with this but not a big fan.

It has been a few years since I tried Eat 3 Bowls, and it is still the best 滷肉飯 I have had in Singapore🤤 The Braised Pork Rice ($7 + $1.70 for egg) features short-grain rice covered in glistening braised pork belly that literally melts in your mouth. The pork is quite fatty but it is not jelak for me - this is savoury, delicious and incredibly satisfying. The Chinese Cabbage ($5.50) is very soft and flavourful, which goes well with rice. Love this!

Oyster Mee Sua ($7.50)
- shiok! generous with ingredients. soup is a little starchy, great for scooping with spoon only haha

Fried Oyster Mushroom ($7.50)
- these were fried till crispy, and the batter was airy. so easy to eat, as they were so more-ish
- a little pricey for the portion given

珍珠奶茶 ($4.50)
- shiok as always! not too sweet, pearls have a nice chewy texture

This bowl of rice is topped with flavourful braised pork that has a balanced ratio of lean meat and fats. The mee sua has the authentic Taiwan taste which some places are unable to replicate.
