𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ($7.50): The soup was similarly flavourful and had the added kick of spiciness to fire up your taste buds. Three medium-sized prawns accompanied a ramen-style egg, pork belly slices, kang kong and bean sprouts in the bowl.

𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧𝐬 ($8.50): The soup was a dark orange and was filled with the umami-ness of crustacean flavours. The three large prawns were fresh and succulent. Together with pork belly slices, kang kong and bean sprouts, it was indeed a hearty meal.

Located at the basement of myVillage at Serangoon Garden, you will find this noodle house at the center serving authentic prawn noodle in local and Penang style.

I usually very particular when it comes to Penang Prawn Noodle, because I have big expectations and usually they disappoint me.

So to keep it safe, I ordered the local style instead. The supreme prawn noodle comes with prawns, pork belly slices, pork ribs, pork tail, beansprouts and kang kong.

You get to choose either soup or dry base and also the noodle type. The broth is tasty and sweet. Juicy pork rib and belly slices.

Astons' take on the local favourite. It lived up to Astons' brand - which is basically close one eye. None of the components stood out. If you want to serve shell with your prawns, they better be worth the extra effort - these weren't. And visiting in the final hour of the eatery's hours didn't produce a powerful broth. I won't eat this again.

Found another good prawn mee place to satisfy my cravings! Love the robust broth, plus the fresh prawns and pork lards too in my bowl of Classic Prawn Noodle! They have a variety of other prawn mee options too, including the Penang style version which I will be trying next. Look out for my review!
