Reviews

From the Burpple community

Am a lover of spice and this pasta dish definitely has the right amount of spice! It hits you right on the spot, spicy yet super satisfying! Prawns are also fresh!

One of the dishes that i liked from :Dual is the Har Cheong Gai (prawn paste) Chicken Cutlet. The chicken was crispy and juicy, just a tad on the saltier side. But i’m a fan of stronger flavours anyway, so its not too much of an issue for me. Definitely recommend this as a side order for sharing!

This cafe is a merchant on Burpple Beyond (1-for-1 mains) as well, so save more when you dine here!

Saw a review by a fellow burppler that this was one of the worst mentaiko pasta he ever tried, and i totally agree. Presentation wise it certainly looked good, and the pasta was quite well cooked but taste wise it was so bland with probably only the slightest hint of mentaiko taste if i’m being totally honest. I had a much better time with their other dishes which I’ll be sharing more about in my other reviews.

If you are looking for a place to relax & chill while enjoying some asian fusion dishes, you may want to drop by @dualcafe.sg which is conveniently located along Arab Street, within 10 mins walk from Bugis MRT Station. Between the two dishes, Tom Yum Seafood Pasta & Mirin Salmon Grain Bowl, I had a difficult time deciding which is my favourite main!

The Tom Yum Seafood Pasta was tasty & flavourful! Loving the pretty presentation of the dish as well! While the salmon grain bowl has the best option of having a combination of both salad & brown rice, allowing individuals to enjoy a healthy diet.

Rise & Shine! Thinking about where to visit for brunch this weekend?
Check out @dualcafe.sg ,located along Arab Street, a cafe which serves a wide variety of asian fusion dishes! One of my favourite dish is the unagi, egg & toast. Although it may sound like a simple dish, but sometimes it is the simplest dish that makes us happy 😊. Apart from the unagi, egg & toast, I will be sharing about the other mains from @dualcafe.sg in my upcoming post!
Thank you @ariane.le for extending the invite & @dualcafe.sg for the warm hosting!

Wanted to utilise our Burpple beyond but it was for other mains. In the end, we decided to go for the protein bowls at $6.90nett cause the deal is too good to resist?

Had chicken thigh, broccoli, beetroot, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and pasta.

The ingredients tasted really fresh though the beet root and tomatoes were a tad too sour for me.

Love that chicken thigh, it was well marinated and quite tender. Not the most tender but definitely decent.

The pasta was al dente.

Overall, a really good deal for $6.90.
