I do love my Venchi gelato, but it's quite hard to not order anything that is chocolate-y at Venchi for there isn't much variety for non-chocolate based flavours. Sure, the scoop here is kinda small, and it looks kinda hysterical when the serving cups are exceptionally huge for a single scoop but the Sesame Praline is possibly my favourite non-chocolate gelato thus far. For one, I liked how moderate the flavours are; you could taste how roasty the sesames are in this one but it's not overly jelak — you know; the moment where you feel like the sesame is burning up your throat. Well-balanced in flavour, it is also very creamy, very smooth that it doesn't even contain nitty gritty bits of sesame within. They also have other interesting flavours like Strawberry Basil and Houjicha, but I would say if you like sesame you should really give this a go — it's seriously worth the try despite the size of it (both physically and virtually when compared with the cup size).
