I absolutely adore this little cake shop. Looks nondescript and unassuming with its location in a HDB void deck. But have a go at their cakes, they're so refined and on par with those you'll get at your high class CBD patisseries.
My favourite part was the sticky rice layer in the mango sticky rice. Takoh means pandan leave basket in Thai and belle means beautiful - and that's what Takoh Belle was, a beautiful pandan-perfumed dessert.
Loved the special touches they put into some some of our familiar items and presented them out of cakes. The Chendol Fudge was, as its name suggested, cake inspired from the Nonya dessert. The Takoh Belle had the original Thai Takoh corn dessert decorated on top of the cheesecake, beautifully fused with Takoh elements. Certainly not the usual type of cakes and their range of cakes looked set to attract many, from young to old, with some interesting combinations of new and familiar flavours.

This is so fragrant, moist and light! It was gone in seconds! Favorite of all is the rose lychee. All so dainty!

Stopped by this small, humble bakery at Telok Blangah for some cakes over the weekend and boy, they were good! I had a slice of the Pandan Cheesecake (highly recommended!) and the Jasmine Yuzu Cheesecake. Love how the layers are all distinctly flavourful on their own and yet they come together so beautifully! Must try!
