Tried this once before and we are getting it again because that is how good Vatos' fish tacos are! Each serving contains three tortilla wraps, each containing a piece of crispy beer-battered fish and is further topped with apple salad. Chipotle sauce is also added to each taco and this gives the fish a slightly smoky and tangy taste due to the smoked jalapenos in the sauce!
We will be sure to get this every single time although we would like to highlight that the tacos do not come cheap, costing $18++ for 3! Hence, be sure to use your Burpple vouchers if you subscribed to Burpple Beyond and you can enjoy 15% off your total bill, provided you spend at least $60 (before GST and service charge) for your meal. Shouldn't be an issue if you are there in a bigger groups!
Do make a reservation as Vatos is really popular on Friday nights and over the weekends!

the baja fish tacos was nothing special tbh. the fish was well fried but there’s not enough seasoning. despite the copious amount of sauce, it tasted v v bland and fell short of our expectations.

quite a crowd on a friday night! loved the atmosphere and the baja fish tacos are really delicious! worth the price after the burpple discount! quesadillas are good too!!!
A very filling meal! Liked the burrito better, the kimchi was an interesting addition and the burrito was decent.
The beer battered fish wasn’t flaky enough, so that was a miss.
What I really enjoyed though, were the chips and salsa! The first basket is free, and they were so good - crunchy chips with salsas that were refreshing and delivered a kick. I’ll come back for the chips, but I think I’ll stick to papi’s tacos for fish tacos / chachacha for Mexican nosh :)

One of my favorite fish tacos in SG and for a reasonable price of $14 for 3 tacos. Pico de gallo and apple coleslaw added a refreshing touch to accompany the slightly spicy chipotle mayo but the star of the show was the fish.
The batter remained super crispy even after sitting at the table for awhile under the slaw and dressing and the fish was tender. Both the batter and fish were also nicely seasoned and not like some places where they only season one element.
