A decent rendition of 四季豆, not bad but also not outstanding either. Could do with a little more wokhei, but glad they weren’t stingy with the garlic.

This is also a skipz. I’ve been spoilt by the best black 猪脚醋 from my dad, this can’t compare. It was lacking in terms of heat (they didn’t warm the serving pot, so it wasn’t v hot when served) and acidity/sourness (vinegar was barely sour at all?). The meat was alright, there’s a mix of lean meat and fatty parts, and the lean meat wasn’t tough and dry. They could also have done with putting more ginger for flavour.

These were not bad, noodles were wet and slurpy, with a dark sauce that was flavourful and not too salty. There’s dried scallops and mushrooms as well. This was one of the dishes that was served piping hot (somehow most of the other dishes were warm at best), we enjoyed this!

Don’t get this if you’re looking for Chinese spinach (yin choy like the one from putien), the spinach used here is bo cai. Was a p decent veg dish, veg was fresh tasting and the sauce was reasonably tasty bc of the salted egg.
