Delicius Pasticceria offers a wide selection of Japanese cakes, most of which involve freshly whipped cream, sponge cake and, if you're dining in, fresh fruit artfully decorated on the plate. We are big fans of the Pomme Fromage (from $20 for a 12cm cake, $6 a slice), a quintessential Japanese cheesecake that is soft and more dense than fluffy, like a cross between a sponge cake and traditional cheesecake. A few forkfuls into the cake and you'll find an apple compote buried closer to the bottom of the cheesecake, much like a surprise centre! The Delicius (from $25 for 12cm cake, $6.50 a slice) is the other best seller β a richer version of Pomme Fromage involving Brie de Meaux cheese and apricot jam on the top, leaving a lingering fruity flavour on the palate.

Cheesecake lovers β you'd love this option from Delicius Pasticceria! Known as the "King" cheesecake (check out my other post about the "Queen"), this Pomme Fromage ($6) has got an apple compote (very tasty!) buried near the bottom of the cheesecake for that lingering fruity aftertaste. If you choose to dine in, the staff will plate your slice of cake with whipped cream and fresh fruits on the side, very pretty and very worth it! P.S. I finished it before taking a photo of my slice so here are the ones on display instead π
Clockwise from left: Cardinal, Strawberry Shortcake, Cherry Baba
Both Cardinal and Strawberry Shortcakes are labelled as Hot Seller. The new in the menu Cherry Baba is a must-try for Yuzu lover too.
Recent additional to their cake menu. Cherry liqueur syrup flavoured baba (Brioche) with Yuzu flavoured sabayon.
A perfect combination made in heaven!!! π
