Covent Garden Kway Chap (Havelock Road Cooked Food Centre)

This is really old school kway chap as all the ingredients are kept warm in a cauldron of soya sauce. This is unlike the new style of kway chap where the ingredients are displayed and then cut up to be served with the sauce. This stall is run by the elderly mother with her middle aged son for a long time. The elderly lady will cut and serve the ingredients as you order. Ingredients are well marinated and cooked well. Eaten with a piping hot bowl of kway this is yummy heritage food.
