Got the large one to share and didn’t know it would come in a soup bowl. This thing was huge! Mom wanted some cocoa powder and the staff kindly obliged. Nice creamy coffee.
I can’t believe I’m here again, but I missed the New Flat White. Hubby got the classic cheese cake. I’m not a fan of cheese cakes. Mostly cos they are too rich and jelat. But this surprised me with its light creaminess. Not like the Japanese cheese cakes, which I found pretty bland. This had the fluffy bounce too but the cheese packed a punch. Not jelat thou. Almost mousse-like. I was going to take just one bite, but ended up eating half the slice. Costa’s cakes really impressed me.
I’ve talked abt their signature carrot cake with the very nice sour cream before so today I’ll just talk abt their new drink New Flat White. The sign board says, “Everything you love about our Flat White, plus choc.” I love Flat White, so this I must try. The first note that hit me was bitterness. Ooh I adore bitter choc so I liked this immediately. The sign was spot on. It was exactly as it described. So easy to drink. The aroma of coffee with bitter choc drew me in and before I knew it, I’d finished the whole thing.
Their carrot cake had a sour tang from the cream cheese which I really liked. Other carrot cakes were mostly sweet. So this was a pleasant surprise. Not very nutty inside the cake, which was the disappointing part. Only the side was dusted with bits of nuts. Very dense and quite rich.
The coconut mocha had a sweet coconut flavor with a slight bitterness from the choc. Not a bad cuppa.
HAHA 😂
We stayed there for a couple of hours and still haven't half. 😟 Just to get it done, we paused from doing work and then concentrate in sipping! HAHA

Although I must say their other ice blended drinks are pretty mediocre. Also don't try their pandan coco it's pretty bad. But this here, the mango coconut tastes like a cup of kaya heaven with a hint of mango. If you're into that you totally need to try this.
