For Fantastic Indian Food Okay first of all, I wanna say that this place is extremely underrated!! Everytime when we dine here, we are pretty much the only customers (with a few delivery orders). Anyway, from the left, we ordered Aloo Gobi (maybe about $8/9). This dish is actually off the menu, u can just say the cauliflower dish and they would understand! It's basically cauliflower fried with potatoes and spices. This is our all time favourite dish! A definitely must order. Next (middle) was Chicken Tikka Masala ($11), taste like butter chicken, which is excellent everywhere, just a little sweeter. They are very generous with the big and tender chicken chunks and the gravy goes rly well with the naans ($2-4). Lastly, we ordered the Lamb Biryani ($11). Very tasty with many lamb pieces. While you're there please order the mango lassi ($4) 馃憤馃徏馃憤馃徏馃憤馃徏. All potions might look small but they are very filling! For these 3 dishes with naan, it was just nice for 3 persons. One of my favourite restaurants in Singapore! Please go give it a try everyone! 馃挆

Indian food For Deepavali! Had the chicken tikka with briyani, lamb vindaloo and plain naan! The chicken tikka was well marinated, and remained juicy and flavourful! The rice was cooked with a variety of spices and tasted amazing as well, however I find it a tad too oily. It went well with the small tub of yogurt provided! The lamb vindaloo was well cooked with chunky pieces of lamb and potatoes. The portion looks small, but is perfectly enough for two servings of naan!

Contemporary Indian Fare Chicken Tikka Masala - creamy, powerful in flavour from the fragrant roasted or saut茅ed onions and spices, with tender chicken chunks. Naan could be more crisp but the portion was big enough for me to wipe the bowl clean literally, otherwise I may have to ditch the decorum.

Yummy Indian feast with @post_eatz! 馃構 @indline does not offer typical Indian food that we find along Little India. Located along Keong Saik Road, it fits into the place with their hip and contemporary Indian cookery concept. 馃憣馃徎. . During lunch they offer a Indbox concept, where you can customize your own meal from the various choices! . . If you have the time, seat in and take a look at their extensive menu! Surely, you'll be able to find something for yourself!馃槈

Double Grill Chicken Jade Noodle Flavour-wise, I thought I actually pretty liked this dish but it's the texture of the noodles here that made it slightly short of impressive. The sauce that the noodles were tossed in was brilliant; a little sweet and a little sour that it's actually pretty delicious 鈥 a little bit like Thai Chili sauce with a dash of savoury flavour. The slices of chicken were a little bit on the dry side, but honestly it was of a pretty reasonable grade for the nature of the dish and place 鈥 I enjoyed it for how it was marinated and seasoned with Thai herbs and spices that made it pair well with the noodles. The poached egg was wobbly and jiggly; the yolk oozes out when one pokes it through to mix it all up with the noodles. Wanton skin was also satisfyingly crisp here. The jade noodles here however felt like they could do a little bit more cooking; a little short in springiness and felt a little hard to chew and swallow. It's pretty value for money at $6.90 (comes with a complimentary drink!), but it would really work out very well if they are able to achieve a better texture for the noodles especially 鈥 it can really be a little more than just being good with some improvements done.

Red Ruby Keith, the friendly owner of the restaurant, actually suggested to mix everything before consuming, but I actually enjoyed the thick, luscious coconut cream as it is. Still, mixed together, this icy dessert with an assortment of ingredients was great respite in the sweltering heat. Also, such a gorgeous dessert!!

Sticky Mango Rice I knew I couldn't leave without trying this when the next table ordered one immediately after they finished their first. The mango, cut in thick slices, was fresh and sweet. I loved the inclusion of the purple rice as well; it felt like I was enjoying 2 desserts- the traditional mango sticky rice with the white rice (yum) and pulut hitam with the purple (double yum!!).

Grilled Chicken With Jade Noodles Springy noodles tossed with a sauce that packs a punch with its strong lemongrass flavour. I love the addition of the perfectly sous-vide egg; burst it to coat each strand with the creamy yolk or slurp it all in one enjoyable mouthful. The crispy cracker was a trusty sidekick that provided a satisfying crunch in between bites. I'd definitely have to try their signature basil chicken next. P.S. to up your noodle game a notch, try experimenting and adding a little of the chillis provided on each table. Even my friend who can't really take spice thought it really elevated the dish even further.

Les Gourmandises, Dessert - L锚 Souffl茅 au Grand Marnier (馃挼S$17) : Grand Marnier Souffl茅 with vanilla ice cream. 馃嵕 鈥 People who knows me know that I LOVE Souffl茅s. However, Bistro Du Vin's Souffl茅 Disappointed me this time round. 馃槱 It's wasn't how I remembered, the Alcohol wasn't as pungent, the consistency wasn't really there, basically there wasn't any soul & body in it, WHY?! The Vanilla ice cream was the redeemer of this Dessert. 馃崷 鈥 ACAMASTIPS馃挳: The safest Dessert to order Especially in a French Bistro/Restaurant is actually not a Dessert but CHEESE. 馃 YOU CAN ALMOST NEVER GO WRONG WITH FRENCH CHEESES. 馃枛馃徎

Plats Principaux - Joue de Boeuf Brais茅e (馃挼S$35) : Beef Cheek braised in red wine, carrots, mushrooms, pearl onion & bacon with mashed potato. 馃惍 鈥 Tender & Fatty is the Beef Cheek, so as the carrots, mushrooms & pearl onion. Well one can't simply skim off bacon. Mashed potato could add a touch more Butter & the Red Wine sauce isn't Rich & Robust enough for me. 馃嵎 鈥 ACAMASTIPS馃挳: To me, it's how the Chef make do with the Cheaper, Tougher cuts of the meat & making it Shine that really Impresses me. Not by taking the "Rolls Royce" cut & elevate it even further, no point. 馃嵈 Therefore things like the innards, cheaper cuts always have a Special place in my Heart. I suggest you give it a try too. 馃枛馃徎

Nothing beats to have a bowl of authentic French onion soup. Nowadays most onion soup are crappy, especially they skip so many steps in making the soup. I worked in a French restaurant before and to cook an onion soup like this, takes a good full 2 days. One day to make beef stock and another day to caramelised the onion under low heat for hours.. And the best thing is served in a bowl with a piece of baguette, topped with cheese and go into the oven! Bon appetit茅!
