We chose coconut ice cream and the waffles also came with some chocolate sauce for a self-drizzle. The coconut flavour tasted light and not too creamy (not like the one at Eighteen Chefs). Sweetness was mild and the flavours balanced really well. If you're craving for waffles, they have other flavoured waffles too! They also offer molten lava cakes 😋
I was really shocked to see 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream being served right in front of my eyes with a shot of espresso.
The espresso went exceptionally well with the ice cream - this is the best affogato I've ever had. Not kidding. The coffee was really smooth, without residue and not bitter at all.
A prime example of an item that looks pretty but is actually mediocre. The coffee itself was nothing special, and the accompanying cotton candy was just your normal run of the mill kind. Looks pretty but I think you would be better off with a normal cup of coffee.
Second stop of the day was Coffee Container which is conveniently located opposite Seven Oats. While there isn't any special about the drink, it is too pretty to give it a miss. Hot steam of the coffee or jasmine tea will result in the fairy floss melting seeming as though it's raining.
It was so good, I slurped the plate clean without leaving some for anyone. Not forgetting the pretty and cosy interior of this container cafe!
This was our 8th stop, and this plate Funghi Pollo e Olio (RM 26, S$8.70) blew us away with its seductive heat and generous servings of mushrooms and chicken. We were so impressed, we ordered another dish!
This is located just 2 doors down the Milkshake place (JC cafe) I posted about previously at:
