All time fav curry omurice at cocoichibanya. The egg was fluffy and goes well with the rice and yummy curry.

Price:$16.80

Full of clams and tomato “swimming” in the curry sauce. Always love their curry here. For someone who doesn’t really take spicy food, level 2 of spiciness is ok for me

Seasonal special that’s available for a limited time, the curry omelette rice comes with your choice of chicken or pork katsu thats filled with cheese! I opted for the chicken katsu which came with a panko-crusted golden brown exterior that’s deep fried to a well breaded, crisp perfection! ✨ The interior comprised of tender, succulent chicken meat and melted, creamy cheese that oozes out! 😍 With a customizable level of spice intensity for the curry, I opted for level 4 which was still manageable for me, a lingering and distinct spiciness that was flavourful and aromatic. The highest level is 5, which I might give it a shot next time 😉. Within the blanket of soft, fluffy omelette lies a bed of white rice that certainly makes a great companion to the thick and fragrant curry. The mushrooms were chewy and juicy as well, though the characteristic earthy note were overwhelmed by the curry. You can also top up $3 for a complete set, which comes with a mini salad and a drink.

Went on 8pm on a weekday with an Eatigo 20% discount. Pork Katsu was big and not overly oily. Egg was fluffy and curry was tasty. Would come back again if I have an omu rice craving!

Tried the omufried rice ($13) with additional chicken katsu ($4). Served with green tea and salad. The level 1 curry is quite spicy and kinda overtake the flavor of the curry. Still pretty good 3.75/5

To be honest, I haven't heard much good reviews about their curry from my friends but my own experience certainly changed my impression on this place. Their Chicken Cutlet Curry Rice at $12.90 is slightly pricey (as with most Japanese Curry places tbh) but I reckon it's worth it. The cutlet was cooked crisp and juicy, golden brown and curry (level 2 spiciness) tasted great - not thick but still dense in flavour. Service was good as well, so I'd recommend it!
