Celebrating Mother’s Day early this year. 🫶🏻

And boy was this good! My folks were still scrapping around the young coconut 🥥 husk, 10 minutes after they have finished the delectable ice cream and wobbly pudding made from coconut flesh and juice within. 😬

Auspicious foods to eat during Lunar New Year period include lobster 🦞 and shrimp 🦐 which symbolize fortune and good luck.

What a delight! The broth of this dish is rich, robust and packs the sweetness of the crustacean; along with the bee hoon that soaks up the delightful flavours of the soup broth and lobster 🦞.

Chin Huat Live Seafood is a famous zichar restaurant in Sunset Way that specializes in fresh seafood that are kept in huge glass tanks. Be sure to try their Golden Sauce way of cooking crabs which is very addictive.

Tried ordering on their official website for takeaway - while you can specify pickup time, they will call to delay if they are busy so be alert for that.

Food was well-packaged and delicious. Appreciated that the crispy things on top of their silver noodles were packed separately.

We already like the food when served at the restaurant, so it’s good to know their takeaway is also good! (We also think there’s not much diff between medium and small when we takeaway)

For a seafood restaurant, Chin Huat certain serves an excellent Coconut Pudding.

Pudding was silky smooth, when mixed with the melted coconut ice cream, just wow. The taste reminds me of the old school coconut potong ice cream.

Also goes very well with the scraped off pieces of coconut skin.

A great dessert to finish of a crab feast.

Love their crab fresh and good. But the service sucks. Chase us way due to second sitting. But they dilly dally in taking order, don't even provide menu but when time up they kept our food away even though we are still eating. Disappointed and won't come Back again as we paid and service suck.
